Injections
Frown lines injections are a safe, effective, and affordable way to rejuvenate the face and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. They are reduced to on grown lines, forehead creases and fine lines around the eyes. They are also used to reduce grinding of teeth which causes headaches and jaw pain.
How Do Frown Lines Injections Work?
Frown lines injections deliver a product derived from a purified protein to masseter muscles. The injected treatment works by stopping communication between the nerve and the muscle, preventing the muscle in question from contracting and making the movements that would cause wrinkling of the skin.
What Can I Expect at my Appointment for Frown Lines Injections?
At your appointment, Dr Henry will go over your goals and expectations and propose a treatment plan to achieve your desired effect. Tiny needles are used to inject the treatment product into the targeted areas of your face. Most patients experience only temporary discomfort and may have little mosquito-bite like marks on their face that subside within about 30-60 minutes after treatment. Patients can immediately return to their regular daily activities.
Results of Frown Lines Injections
The results of your frown lines injection treatment will be apparent within two weeks. The results will last an average of three to four months.

- Many patients combine frown lines injections with dermal filler treatment to restore volume to certain areas of the face.
- Side effects include the potential for mild bruising and temporary redness. Less than 0.01% of patients experience a temporary and treatable drooping of the eyelid.

Dr Henry, Dr Eden Hitch and Dr Shannon Sia are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and one Saturday a month. Consultations will be charged at $75, though this fee is waived if you proceed with the work at this consultation appointment.
Estimated Costs
$400 - 600 for TMJ treatment (clenching, grinding, bulging masseters/cheek muscles).
Dysport fee ~$4 per unit, this equates to ~$450 for the 3 areas that are commonly treated: frown lines, forehead lines and Crow's feet.
