At Robina Town Dental, we believe that everyone should have the right to high quality dental care when they need it. We are committed to making dental care as affordable and accessible as possible.
As a preferred provider for Bupa and HCF, we offer extra benefits to eligible members of those funds, but we understand that many of our patients have insurance with a different provider. That's why we accept all health funds at our Gold Coast dental clinic, so no one gets left behind.
We also offer HICAPS services to process electronic claims for most health funds on the spot, so you won't be left out of pocket on the day of your treatment or have to wait in line for your money to be reimbursed.

As well as accepting all health funds, Robina Town Dental is a preferred provider for Bupa and HCF.
As part of Bupa's Members First Ultimate network and HCF's More for Teeth program, we can offer exclusive additional benefits to members of these health funds.
There is also reduced dental for BUPA members on other items.
HCF is also committed to helping its members maintain a high standard of oral health by making dental care more affordable.
If you're an HCF member with extras cover, you can claim 100% back on diagnostic and preventive services up to annual limits. Depending on your level of cover, this may include:
This means that if you visit our dental clinic twice a year for your regular check-up and clean, you'll be fully covered and won't have any out of pocket expenses.
To find out more about the More for Teeth program, visit the HCF website.
The dental services you can claim on your health fund depend on the type of cover you have. All private health funds in Australia include some level of dental cover.
Basic health insurance will usually cover:
If you have insurance with hospital cover, this will cover in-patient dental treatments carried out at a hospital, such as wisdom teeth removal. It may also cover anaesthesia and other related expenses, depending on the plan.
If you have insurance with extras cover, this may be classed as general dental or major dental.
Some health funds cover 100% of dental costs, while others only pay up to a certain limit. The remaining 'gap' is charged to the patient on the day of treatment.
HICAPS stands for Health Industry Claims and Payments Service. If you're a member of a health fund that uses HICAPS, the service can process your health claim automatically on the day of your treatment.
At Robina Town Dental, our staff use a HICAPS machine to process electronic claims on the spot for the convenience of our patients. Depending on the level of cover you have, your health fund may cover your whole bill or you may have to cover a gap payment yourself.
Check your health fund's website to find out whether they offer HICAPS payments.
